Farooq Sheikh’s last rites to be performed today

The last rites of legendary actor Farooq Sheikh, who died of a cardiac arrest in Dubai, last Friday, will take place in Mumbai today. Yesterday, Sheikh's close friend actor Satish Shah informed, “His body will be brought here after completing the formalities in Dubai, by tomorrow afternoon, approximately at 4 pm. Then from 5 pm to 7pm the body will be kept for people to pay their last respects. And after that last rites will be performed.”

Sudden death of the actor has left many Bollywood celebrities with teary eyes. It is expected that many big names will be present to bid adieu to the renowned artist. Farooq’s contribution to Indian cinema is outstanding. He did films like Shatranj Ke Khiladi, Chashme Buddoor, Kissi Se Na Kehna and Noorie in his career span. The actor also hosted a show on television where all the famous people from their respective streams used to come up for a conversation with Farooq. May his soul rest in peace.
