Fawad Khan’s Role In ADHM Got Extended After Kapoor and Sons’ Success?

Fawad Khan was one-film old in Bollywood before Kapoor and Sons had released but the audiences were already smitten by his performance, looks and charm. After the release of the Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra starrer movie, Fawad Khan has once again proved himself as a promising actor. Now rumours are rife that after the success of his last film, Karan Johar has extended his role in his upcoming venture, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.

A DNA report has quoted a source as saying, “Fawad has become a star after Kapoor & Sons. His role, which was more of an extended guest appearance in ADHM has been altered. Now, it won’t just be a cameo, it’s almost as much as Salman’s role in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. So, Fawad will be seen in a supporting role, not a cameo, even in the film credits”.

The Pakistani fame is reportedly playing the role of a DJ in the film which stars Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles. He had earlier told the daily, “I have shot some of my portions already for the film. Now, I have a few more days of shooting left on the film”.

The source added, “Fawad and Karan are extremely close friends now and besides, Fawad is a big draw across the border and in the Middle East. He is a big draw in certain overseas markets, so through him, ADHM will reach a bigger audience”. It is said that ADHM is Fawad’s second project out of his three-film deal with Dharma Productions.
