Firoz Nadiadwala launches Hera Pheri 3; question marks hover over Akki’s presence

Producer Feroz Nadiadwala officially launched the third instalment of his Hera Pheri series at an even in Mumbai. Well the Hera Pheri fans may have been disheartened after no sequel was put under the prospects post Phir Hera Pheri, but there seems to be some good news coming their way. According to reports, Firoz Nadiadwala has decided to get the sequel made and the preparations are underway. The tag line of the film reads, ‘Based on a true rumour’.

Guess who’s starring in the movie this time? Well, the Dostana boys! Yes, Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham will be playing the lead in Hera Pheri 3, reports confirm. While most fans were desperately waiting for Dostana sequel to go on floors so they could see the sizzling Abhishek-John chemistry on screen again, they would have to do with the Hera Pheri this time. There is no news of Akshay Kumar coming in this time after having an apparent fall-out with the producer but Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal would carry forward with their roles in the third part. The film will be directed by Neeraj Vohra who also helmed Phir Hera Pheri.
