Friday clash: Main Tera Hero vs. Jal

The fans of ‘Student of the year’ fame actor Varun Dhawan must be enthralled as a romantic action-comedy starring Varun Dhawan has released today. Being a Telugu remake of Kandireega, the movie is directed by Varun’s father David Dhawan and features Ileana D'Cruz and Nargis Fakhri in the female leads.

The story is a usual love triangle amongst Seenu (Varun Dhawan), Sunaina (Ileana D'Cruz) and Ayesha (Nargis Fakhri). Varun falls in love with Ileana at first sight in college but Nargis, who is in love with Varun, creates chaos and tries to keep Varun-Ileana apart. Anupam Kher is depicting the biggest drug dealer in Asia and Africa. The film also features Evelyn Sharma, Arunoday Singh and Raju Kher in other important roles.

Jal, on the other hand, throws light on crucial water issue in India. Set in the Rann of Kutch, the feature film revolves round an uncommon man, who is gifted with the ability to find water. Jal moves on to show the characteristics of humans in intricate conditions and fuses love, relationships, enmity and deceit. Directed by Girish Malik, the film stars Purab Kohli, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Kirti Kulhari and few more in pivotal roles. The venture has acquired acclaims at various film festivals.
