Hearing postponed to August 21 in Salman’s hit-and-run case

Salman Khan may get blessed this Eid with “Kick” hitting theatres today, but he seems to have no respite in the 2002 hit-and-run case as the court has adjourned the hearing till August 21.

It is heard that Salman’s lawyer has filed an exception saying that the actor was not requisite in court as there were no eyewitness testifying today. Prior to this, police statements of two witnesses were addressed ‘untraceable’ which postponed the trial hearing to July 25.

The star is now also charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder, which draws a 10-year jail term.
