Homi Adajania's Next Will Not Star Kangana

It is confirmed that Sushant Singh Rajput and Irrfan Khan will be working together for the first time in Homi Adajania's next. Since the announcement, rumours have been doing the rounds regarding Kangana Ranaut’s involvement as the female lead in the flick. Now, it seems that the actress was approached for the role but will not be signing the film.

According to IANS, a source revealed, “Homi has narrated (the script) to Kangana and she is keen to work with him, but she is already committed to Hansal Mehta's film after 'Rangoon' and the dates are clashing. But they have promised to work with each other in the future”. The search for the female lead is still on.

The director has completed the script for his film and both Sushant and Irrfan are excited about the project. Sushant will be next seen in the Dhoni biopic, ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ while Irrfan made his latest appearance on the big screen last year in ‘Jazbaa’. On the other hand, Kangana is about to complete the shooting for Rangoon.
