Hrithik Roshan on mediocrity: It bores and irritates me, makes me feel negative

Actor Hrithik Roshan has given multiple superhits in his 17-year-long career and the actor says that the trick to his success is that he doesn’t let pessimistic people enter his life.

“I want to surround myself with people who want to do good work and aim for the best things. Mediocrity bores and irritates me and people who aim only for that make me feel negative,” says Roshan, whose recent release Kaabil, went on to become a commercial and critical success.

The actor, who has given hits such as Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000), Agneepath (2012), Dhoom 2 (2006) and Koi ...Mil Gaya (2003), took a different path when he starred in a single Dheere Dheere (2015). When asked if he is comfortable trying new things in his career, the actor says that he’s not afraid of anything and will continue taking risks in his career.

“I am an adventurer in my life and I like to try new things, I will continue to do so all the time and I don’t care, if they are looked upon as good or bad. I would like to do things that stimulate me, even if it’s a small thing. It doesn’t matter what it is. It could be a three hero film or a 10 hero film. I am fully ready to do all kinds of films without any qualms” he adds.
