‘I am shy about my singing’, says Priyanka Chopra

Former Miss World Priyanka Chopra still feels shy in singing after been applauded for the same on many occasions. The Marykom star credits Farhan Akhtar for always encouraging her to sing. She has also worked with international stars like Pitbull and Will.i.am. The songs were chartbusters and are still praised by the audience.

Priyanka said, “I am shy about my singing. Farhan Akhtar has been encouraging me to sing since we were shooting ‘Don’. He is one of the first to encourage me to sing. We used to jam together”. Farhan Akhtar said, “I’ve always told her that she has a great voice. Her voice has an expressive quality. Even if you just listen to the audio, you can see her performing it”.

The Fashion star also said, “I don’t compete with him. I wish I had the guts to do rock shows like him”. Both have also sung the title track of their latest release ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’. The multi-starrer movie was released on June 5.
