From action to romance and drama to comedy, Akshay Kumar has portrayed many characters in his career spanning over 25 years. The fitness freak majorly credits his good fortune to come this far in his career. According to Akshay, it is not dedication and hard work alone, which ease one’s journey in tinsel town. But, ‘it's luck’, the actor shared. He added, “In fact almost 60 to 70 percent is luck. I am very lucky that things have gone my way".

Akshay Kumar feels very blessed and shared his experience of being in Bollywood with Indian Express.com. "Yes I worked hard. I have selected good films and bad films but the luck factor has always been there. When I enter a studio, I see there are lots of models standing outside who wants to come and get into this line. There are some who come with great photographs. When I look at their profiles and their faces I am like, 'Wow what a good looking guy or girl. But he or she has been struggling since the last seven to ten years. Why? Is he not talented. He is. In fact he has all the ingredients to be a great actor. Then why is he still languishing. Believe it or not it is the luck factor that he doesn't have. I have worked my a** off but luck plays a vital role in success. That is what I have seen", the Airlift actor said.

The Khiladi Kumar has completed more than two decades in B-town and it is his modesty that instead of crediting his endeavours, the actor is praising his luck. Nowadays, Akshay is busy shooting for his upcoming flick, Rustom. The film is slated to release on August 12 this year.
