I don't like the term item girl, says Malaika Arora Khan

Hot-bod actress Malaika Arora Khan has won many hearts with her dance in songs like Chaiyya Chaiyya, Munni Badnam Hui, Kaal and many more. But it appears that Malaika is not at all interested on being tagged as an ‘item girl. She quoted, “I don't like the term 'item girl'... Why not look at it (item song) as a special song?...A song that is creating a hype and entertainment. I find it derogatory and silly.”

The bombshell has been facing a tough competition from leading Bollywood ladies like Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and others in doing special songs. On this Malaika says, “There is enough work for everyone. Everybody has a role or part to play, if somebody fits the bill that is what matters.” At present, the actress is busy in filming for a cameo in Farah Khan’s next, Happy New Year and simultaneously she is judging a ‘talent’ show on television as well.
