I Want To Open A Restaurant, Cook Italian Food, Says Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh is not only a passionate actor; we hear that he is a marvellous cook as well. I am sure, fans must not be aware of this hidden passion and interest of the actor. If we go by the reports, the actor wants to try his hand in cooking and open his own chain of restaurants.

Speaking to the Hindustan Times, Shah Rukh expressed his desire of becoming a chef and cooking Italian food, he says, “I know it sounds very girlish (smiles). I am all for the empowerment of women. I want to be equal to women. I want to go higher up to their level, instead of thinking that they have to go higher. But I genuinely want to cook. Imagine, if I open a chain of restaurants and stores, kitna business karunga main (smiles). Having said that, Juhi (Chawla) once asked me, ‘Why have you named your company Red Chillies?’ And I was like, ‘just in case film – making fails, I’ll open a restaurant by the same name. Red Chillies Restaurant toh chalega hi (laughs).”

On the work front, SRK is presently filming in Punjab for Imtiaz Ali’s next which also features Anushka Sharma in the lead. After he wraps up this shoot, he will start filming for Aanand L Rai’s next. Needless to say, Shah Rukh is a real talent.
