Irrfan Khan, Amitabh Bachchan shake hands for Piku

Acclaimed ‘The Lunchbox’ actor Irrfan Khan is roped in for a major role in Shoojit Sircar’s next opposite Bollywood’s biggie Amitabh Bachchan and he is thrilled to work with him. Irrfan confirms the same saying, "I have signed the deal to work in Shoojit's next 'Piku'. The film also stars Amitabhji in it. Apart from him and me there is also one actress in it. We will soon begin the shoot."

The 47-year-old is mesmerized by the way Amitabh has bound the audience for so long and he comments that it would be a learning experience for him. Although he respects Big B, Irrfan never accepts his projects, considering his co-stars, "I have never decided on any project thinking about my co-star. Rather, I have always given importance to a film's story and how would I mould myself according to the character. I have my own style of acting." Irrfan recently starred in Gunday and his upcoming project beside Piku is Haider, releasing on September 12. He has also been signed by Tigmanshu Dhulia for ‘Bichde Sabhi Baari Baari’, where he will be supported by Manoj Bajpai.
