Here's How Irrfan Khan Was Welcomed In Gangtok When He Arrived To Shoot For A Film!

Irrfan Khan had a surprise waiting for him when he arrived in Gangtok, Sikkim, to shoot for a film. To his pleasant surprise, the actor was greeted by a huge number of people on reaching the city, according to a source.

“On arriving in Gangtok, Irrfan was greeted by a huge number of people. The actor was surprised to see so many of them, as Gangtok is not a huge market for Hindi movies. So, once the crowd settled, the actor met the fans, some of whom have written to him on social media in the past.

They even told Irrfan that they had seen his Hollywood movies on DVDs, and most of his other works on celluloid,” says the source.

The actor also interacted with some of the fans on the sets of his film. Irrfan says, “The welcome in Gangtok was fantastic. It was great to be in a place where people have such limited access to movies, and still get such a good response. Much like the place, the people of Gangtok are wonderful and beautiful.”

The actor will next be seen in Hindi Medium co-starring Saba Qamar, Doob: No Bed Of Roses and Tanuja Chandra’s next.
