Parineeti Chopra Comments About Actors’ Freedom To Do Anything And Even Sing If They Want To!

Sonkashi Sinha has been at the loggerheads with both Armaan Malik and Kailash Kher ever since it was announced that the actress will perform with Justin Bieber when he arrives in India for a concert. Kailash Kher uttered that the time has come when singers should be given opportunities. He further maintained that Sonakshi performing with Justin will give a wrong message to the world that she is a singer when infact she is an actor.

While Kailash was supported by singer Armaan Malik and his brother Amaal Malik who felt the same, Sonakshi was supported by her brother Luv Sinha. Now looks like Sona has another supporter. She is none other than Parineeti Chopra, an actress as well as a trained singer, who feels that everyone has the freedom to do what they desire. She feels that even if actors are not trained in singing but no one can stop from them from singing if they wish to.

Parineeti said, “When I am acting, no one has a problem. When I am dancing, no professional dancer has complained. When I crack a joke, I haven’t heard any professional comedian complain. I wear designer clothes, but fashion designers don’t have a problem and when I do action, the stuntpersons don’t raise objections. Then why this hue-and-cry about actors singing?”

She added, Are we saying that if I am an actor, I should only act in a film? Who decides what I can do and can’t do? Where does this debate end? And why are we having it?”
