It’s an Akki-Ajay clash at the Box-Office in November

The release of Ajay Devgn starrer Action-Jackson has long been held in uncertainty. While the film’s release was earlier changed from June to November to avoid clash with Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, we hear that the clashing ghost continues to haunt them. The Prabhu Deva directed movie will now clash with Akshay Kumar starrer Shaukeen on November 7th.

It wasn’t a deliberate move since Shaukeen’s release date was just recently finalised and makers of either of films were unaware of this. While Shaukeen is a comedy remake of the 1983 classic of the same name, Action-Jackson is a packed action drama in the trademark Prabhu Deva style. It also stars Sonakshi Sinha in the lead along with Ajay while Shaukeen stars Lisa Haydon, Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra in prominent roles.

It has already been a terrific year for Khiladi Kumar as his Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty being the top grosser. His next It’s Entertainment is also due for release in a couple of weeks. Ajay too may well make this year a fortune for himself as he reunites with his lucky charm money spinner Rohit Shetty for Singham Returns which is to release in August. While we leave the producers to take the final call on the release date, it is certainly going to be a clash of the Titans if it happens.
