Its confirmed: Raveena Tandon is in Bombay Velvet

A few days back, it was reported that Bollywood starlet Raveena Tandon won’t be making an appearance in Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet. Amidst all the perplexity, the 90s diva took to the micro-blogging site to clean the air and informs that she is very much a part of Bombay Velvet.

“Too much hype around my appearance in the film,I have done it for fun and only because I love the film and the music of bombayvelvet!,” she wrote.

The beautiful actress further tweeted, “Didnt think so many stories wld come out of 1statement,lot of Twitter friends askd me,thought shld let d noise die down say this for once.”

The actress said that she was earlier not sure if she will appear on the screen after film's editing. "When asked all the time about it, all I said was 'I don't know if I will be there also or no in the final edit as film is in the editing stage',” she said.

Co-produced by Phantom Films and Fox Star India, Bombay Velvet is an upcoming neo-noir drama featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles.
