John and Shruti's engagement crucial in Welcome Back: Anees Bazmee

Welcome Backa sequel to the 2007 comedy Welcome is on the cards. The shooting for the movie has already started in Kamal Amrohi Studio, Jogeshwari. Actors like Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal Dimple Kapadia, John Abraham and Shruti Haasan, were spotted at the site, yesterday in the shoot which reportedly began from 9.00 in the morning andended at 6.00 in the evening.

Talking about the shoot, filmmaker Anees Bazmee says, "Despite the heat, nobody complained. The scene, John and Shruti's engagement, is crucial for the film's plot. Everybody gathers for the occasion, but things go drastically wrong."

"I've directed all of them in the past. They had to stand on a particular spot for hours under the sun, yet nobody complained. When you are making a comedy, it's important to keep your cast happy," Bazmee added.
