Justin Bieber concert on May 10: Mumbai police keep an eye on vehicles entering city

The police on Tuesday started checking all vehicles, especially those registered outside Mumbai, entering Navi Mumbai, ahead of Canadian pop star Justin Bieber’s May 10 concert.

The singer will perform at the DY Patil stadium in Navi Mumbai.

The police are under tremendous pressure as many people are coming to the city to attend the concert. They have checked almost all hotels and lodges in the city.

A senior officer from the special branch said, “We are keeping an eye on people with criminal records. We have asked officials to check the new vehicles entering the city. Control room officials are monitoring the vehicles through CCTV cameras.”

The police are conducting combing operations from Monday morning.
