Kangana says her 'athlete' stint not a cliche in Tanu Weds Manu 2

Actor Kangana Ranaut Has surely upped the bar with her stellar performances such as Queen. And the expectations from her upcoming, Tanu Weds Manu 2 are already high, since she has a double role. Of the two roles she will play in the sequel of Tanu Weds Manu, one is that of Haryanvi athlete. And Kangana herself is quite confident of pulling the role with conviction. “It’s a very different role. Yes, I play an athlete from Haryana but the character doesn’t come with any clichés,” she said.

One hears that Kangana has done a lot of research for her role. “Kangana learnt Haryanavi and also has tried to pick up the pronounced Haryanvi accent. She met a few young girls from a Haryana village to observe their body language and pick up nuances,” says a source close to the actor. The film also stars actor R Madhvan and is being directed and produced by Anand L. Rai.
