He tweeted, “Am oddly feeling like I did a day before my ICSE exams!!! #nervesforBombayVelvet.” We have seen Karan acting in some of the flicks like, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Salaam -e-Ishq and Luck By Chance but this will be the first time when he will be essaying a full-fledged character.

The film is a direction piece of Anurag Kashyap. The maker said that Karan has lost 10 kilos for the role and he will be seen as a rich businessman with grey shades. The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. Reports have revealed that Johar has charged Rs. 11 to work in the film, showing how modest the actor-director is.
