Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgan land in Dubai to promote Satyagraha

The city of Dubai is going to have one more star-studded celebration in Bollywood style as Satyagraha actors Kareena Kapoor and Ajay Devgan have landed there to promote their upcoming film. Satyagraha is scheduled to release on Thursday across UAE theatres.

The actors have also been joined by director Prakash Jha to kick-start the promotional campaign of the film. The trio is supposed to attend the press meet today morning before heading towards two fan events. But this time the film crew will not go for regular mall visits for the promotions. This time the stars will interact with their fans in two separate hangouts in the busy areas of Karama and Bur Dubai, all thanks to the organisers Dream Advertising and Ministry of Events. Organiser Syed Shuja said, “We decided to offer fans a different experience from what we have previously brought to the city and arranged for two store visits that also gives fans a chance to meet and greet Kareena and Ajay.”

He added, “The first will be a 5.30pm visit at Yas Sports International in Karama, where five fans stand the chance to win personally autographed bats by Kareena, Ajay and Pakistani cricketer, Shahid Afridi.” The second visit will happen at Meena Bazaar in Bur Dubai during a store visit to Malabar Gold at 6.30 p.m. Bollywood has been a regular one in Dubai this month. First Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone promoted Chennai Express during Ramadan, then Arjun Rampal flew to the city for some social causes. Last week Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan celebrated Eid in Dubai ahead of Once Upon ay Time in Mumbaai Dobaara!’s release. Shuja said, “We do expect a large turnout for Kareena and Ajay’s event too, with the actress really surprising us in the past with her star power with fans in Dubai.”
