Khuda Gawah’s sequel on way; Amitabh Bachchan-Sridevi might re-unite

A sequel of 1992 hit movie Khuda Gawah, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi in the lead, is into the making and there is a possibility that both the stars might revive their characters in this sequel. The producer of the project, Manoj Desai commented that the script is already in progress, “It (film) was one of the most loved films and we thought of bringing it back. We have given a one liner brief idea to Mr Bachchan. We have got a positive feedback from him. Once the script is complete we will meet him again and approach him for this film."

However, the producer when asked about the story line, refused to disclose it. Manoj also quoted that he is seeking a green signal from Big B, "Once Mr Bachchan gives his nod for the sequel we may go and talk to Sridevi as well about the film. There will be other actors also in the film from the younger generation." The original Khuda Gawah was also co-produced by Manoj Desai and elaborates the story of an Afghan badshah, who is caught between love and revenge. This film found its place in India's Limca Book of Records.
