Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff in Baaghi 2?

Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Baaghi (2016) is gearing up for a sequel. While it is common knowledge that Tiger is reprising the protagonist once again, there has been speculation about the female lead in the sequel. It was recently reported that Jacqueline Fernandez and Kriti Sanon were the top contenders for the role. We have now learnt from sources close to the project that Kriti has bagged the role and the Heropanti (2014) pair will reunite once again on screen.

The source reveals, “The sequel will be directed by Ahmed Khan and while the first look poster with Tiger was recently launched, an official announcement about the leading lady will be made soon. Kriti has been finalised for the role and has been spotted outside Sajid Nadiadwala’s (producer) office quite a few times in the past month. Also, the makers are keen to have the Heropanti pair back on screen as their pairing was a hit with the audience. Sajid launched Tiger and Kriti with this project and shares a special equation with the actors.”

Tiger will be seen performing some high-octane action sequences in this action-thriller.”
