Lucknow Central Ropes In Ravi Kishan, Manoj Tiwari

Farhan Akhtar will be playing the lead role in Nikkhil Advani's upcoming film ‘Lucknow Central’. In the flick, Farhan plays an aspiring Bhojpuri singer who is a die-hard fan of Manoj Tiwari. Now, Mirror has shared that both Manoj Tiwari and Ravi Kishan have been roped in for interesting cameos.

This news was confirmed by Nikkhil who said, “We were pleased we could convince the two Bhojpuri superstars to play interesting cameos. Their camaraderie with Farhan is something to watch out for”. Manoj and Ravi were last seen together in the 2006 Bhojpuri film, 'Ganga', which also featured Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini.

Both of their roles, even though cameos, are important to the script. Ravi, who will be playing a Chief Minister, has already shot his portion in Mumbai. Kishan also revealed that while it would have been quite interesting to see both Manoj and him on screen together, they do not share screen space. ‘Lucknow Central’ will be released on September 15.
