Madhur Bhandarkar to Make Fashion Sequel?

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar known to highlight social issues via films is planning to make a sequel to his 2008 hit film Fashion. The movie was a milestone for actress Priyanka Chopra and Madhur Bhandarkar. The director-producer has decided to take off the movie on floors in mid-2016.

The director is popularly known in the film industry for making films on strong female protagonists. The movie Fashion featured actress Priyanka Chopra in the lead with Kangana Ranaut, Mugdha Godse, Arjan Bajwa and Arbaaz Khan in supporting roles. The story of the film was about a small town girl who aspires to become a supermodel. Actress Priyanka and Kangana bagged National Award for their roles in the movie. Bhandarkar’s upcoming may have a different story line, a different subject to tell and will be a love triangle.

Madhur Bhandarkar is yet to decide on the female lead actress for Fashion 2. The news was shared by Taran Adarsh. The trade analyst took to twitter to confirm the news.
