Masked Men Attacked, Tear-gassed Mallika Sherawat In Paris Apartment

Few weeks ago, news of television personality Kim Kardashian being robbed at gunpoint in her own house in Paris by intruders broke. And now, in almost similar manner, Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat and her beau Cyrille Auxenfans are reportedly attacked and robbed by three masked men in her Paris apartment block. It is being heard the couple were tear-gassed and beaten in the ordeal.

Le Parisien newspaper, in its report, has included the incident happen when the 40-year-old Murder actress and her boyfriend entered their apartment building at around 9.30 p.m. on November 11. The report said that three masked men “without saying a word, sprayed their victims with tear gas before punching them”. The attackers fled the scene afterwards leaving the two to call the emergency services themselves.

A spokesman for the police was quoted as saying that, “A full investigation to find the assailants is underway”. A team of detectives, who is investigating the case, has issued a statement that the attack was an attempted robbery. Sherawat and Cyrille, a businessman, received minor injuries but the attackers failed to steal any item during the attack.
