‘Mulk’ Will Bring Together Rishi Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Prateik Babbar

Anubhav Sinha is working on his next, which has been titled ‘Mulk’. The movie will star Rishi Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu and Prateik Babbar in pivotal roles. It is being touted as a social thriller which is based on real life events. Anubhav will be venturing into the thriller genre after 10 years with ‘Mulk’.

The director gave out a statement where he shared that he is going back to his roots with this film. “I am doing a thriller after 10 years and this will be quite different from what I have attempted in the past. I'm returning to my roots after so many years. It is my way of giving back to my hometown and it feels emotionally satisfactory”, Anubhav stated. The director also revealed that he is looking to cast in a few more actors.

‘Mulk’ tells the story of a small town family trying to reclaim its honour. “Some stories resonate with your soul. They are heartfelt yet thrilling. 'Mulk' is one such story that has a pulsating vibe to it and will have you completely captivated”, shared Mushtaq Sheikh, who is jointly writing the script with Anubhav. ‘Mulk’ is expected to go on floors in October.
