Nach Baliye 8: Divyanka Tripathi hurt, Vivek Dahiya to perform without her

Divyanka Tripathi has hurt her back and will not be able to perform on this weekend’s episode of Nach Baliye.

The actor, who is currently seen on the show along with her husband Vivek Dahiya, has aggravated an old injury while rehearsing for her act on the show.

“An annoyed me when my back pain coercively leaves me bed-ridden. #NothingToDo? #MakeInstaPosts!,” she wrote in a post on Instagram.

Divyanka had a slipped disc several years ago. She suffered a back spasm while rehearsing on Tuesday, which combined with her existing back condition, has made it painful for her to dance. Her doctor has advised her not to aggravate her back and to not dance for a few days.

Divyanka and Vivek have had a great run in the first three weeks of the competition. However, it remains to be seen what the judges’ decision on Vivek’s performance will be - whether Divyanka will perform or will Vivek be allowed to dance without his wife.

Nach Baliye airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8pm on Star Plus.
