Gul Khan Speaks Out On Rumours That Ishqbaaz Is Going Off Air

There is a buzz that Star Plus might pull the plug on Ishqbaaaz just like Naamkarann . Star Plus is pulling down a number of shows in a bid to refurbish its content.  Recently, in a video of Naamkarann fame Zain Iman, he is seen hinting that Ishqbaaaz might go off-air too.

Ishqbaaz is one of the most popular shows on television.  When the rumours were doing the rounds earlier on the internet, producer Gul Khan rubbished all the speculations and said that it is not going off-air. And now the rumours are steaming up again. When informed about the social media storm, Khan said, "It's better if other actors talk about their own shows and worry about themselves than about Ishqbaaaz”.

She added, "As for the fans I would like to say nothing like this is happening at all." For those wondering why the current track was shot fast track, Gul clarified, "We wrapped up the track to not stretch the fake wedding [ Shivaay and Pooja] as that was never the plan." Moreover, as per the reports, Naamkarann will air its last episode on May 18.
