Tony D’Souza’s directorial venture ‘Azhar’ is in trouble again with the walk out of Nimrat Kaur. According to sources, Nimrat who was supposed to play the role of a lawyer in the flick has opted out of the project. The character plays an important part in the film and defends the cricketer in the match-fixing scandal.

Nimrat Kaur said, "Yes I was approached to do Azhar but I had never signed the film. It was one of those films I was considering. How can I walkout of a film I haven't even signed? Beyond that, I won't be able to tell anything else”.

If sources are to be believed the actress left the film because of its too much cricketer’s perspective. The movie features Emraan Hashmi in the lead and Nargis Fakri, Prachi Desai, Huma Qureshi and Gautam Gulati in pivotal roles. Produced under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures and MSM Motion Pictures, ‘Azhar’ is set to release in May, 2016.
