Nimrat Kaur In Ekta Kapoor’s Web Series

Nimrat Kaur is known for her power-pack performances. To show off her exceptional acting skills, the Airlift actress is all geared up to be seen as a combat officer in Ekta Kapoor’s web-series. And we bet, no one could have done this better than Nimrat after all she comes from a defence background.

The web-series would be directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. On the occasion of Republic Day, Nimrat posted a video where we saw her working out for the role. We know the actress goes behind her limits to bring perfection to any role which she accepts.

In an interview, the actress has said, “Unconventional projects interest me. After Homeland (US TV series), I was keen to do a show that pushes me as an actor. The story is set against the backdrop of the Indian Army and since I come from a defence background, I got hooked instantly. What’s exciting about partnering with Ekta is the common belief that we need to shake up digital entertainment with power-packed, strong and brave original content”.

The show will be bankrolled by Balaji ALT. She was last seen with superstar Akshay Kumar in Airlift.
