Our Separation Would Not Change The Equation We Share: Arbaaz Khan Talks About Malaika

The year 2016 can be called as a break up year as we saw many celebs parting ways with their respective partners. From Sushant Singh Rajput breaking up with partner of seven years, Ankita Lokhande to Farhan Akhtar who divorced his wife of 15 years, we read it all. The couples who broke up last year also include Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan who shocked the industry and their fans with the announcement of their separation.

After being one of the most loved celebrity couples for 18 years, the couple decided to take divorce by mutual consent. Now, the Dabangg star has opened up on the equation he shares with his wife. He said, "Just because we’re separating, doesn’t mean we have to be worried about each other’s equations. I have a child with her, so we have to have a cordial and a great relationship. We’re very amicable with the split we had. I’m close to her side of the family, something that you can all see".

He also said that they have a child together and it is very important for them to have a cordial relationship to take up parenting responsibilities and duties. He added that both he and Malaika are extremely mature to handle this. The couple were together for more than 18 years.
