Akshay Kumar 's PadMan is finally going to hit the screens. The film, which is highly anticipated this year with its promising content was earlier said to release on January 26. However now, it will be released on January 25. The film stars, Akshay Kumar with Radhika Apte in the lead roles.

The film has been in news for its great social message. It is based on the story of a man named Arunachalam, who is a small town entrepreneur from Tamil Nadu. He raises awareness about the female menstrual cycle, who also invented low-cost sanitary napkins in rural areas.

The film’s trailer was released by the makers recently, which created a lot of buzzes and in no time lots of excitement amongst the fans. Moreover, Akshay took to his social media account to reveal the latest release date. Produced by Twinkle Khanna the film stars Sonam Kapoor and will also have Amitabh Bachchan in a special sequence.
