S S Rajamouli’s latest released sequel of Baahubali, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, is creating new records at the box-office. The film released on over 8000 screens all over India and is expected to rake in more money than its prequel. Initially, both parts were jointly produced on a budget of 250 crore, however the budget of the second part was increased later.

Another magnum opus movie that is gearing up for the release in November this year is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. The flick is touted to be the only flick that could reach near or above Baahubali. After Baahubali 2 is showing its supremacy on the box-office, Bhansali has revised Padmavati’s budget and has increased it from 160 to 200 crores.

This will make Padmavati India’s first Rs. 200-crore budgeted production. As per a source, “Baahubali is the new benchmark for epic grandeur. The Padmavati team is all set to amplify the grandiosity to a level where audiences would not miss the Baahubali experience”. Well, only November 28 will tell if Padmavati breaks Baahubali’s records or not.
