Pakistani Actress Reshma Has Been Allegedly Shot Dead By Husband

A shocking news came up this Thursday morning. Pakistani singer-actress Reshma has been shot dead, allegedly by her husband. This incident took place in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. If we go by the reports, it seems she was shot dead by her husband in Nowshera Kalan area.

It was reported that Reshma who was the fourth wife, used to live with her brother in Hakimabad. It looks like the two had a huge domestic dispute following which the suspect entered Reshma’s house and began firing. The husband fled from the crime scene immediately. The police have registered a complaint against the accused and investigations have begun in full swing.

There have been many cases of violence against women artists in Pakistan and this is the latest. This is the 15th case of violence against a female artiste in that area. Other than her, actress Sunbul was earlier shot dead in February. As far as Reshma is concerned, she was known for her songs in Pashto and has also worked in Zhobal Goluna.
