Playing Big B’s daughter in Piku came naturally to Deepika

While the opening trailer of Piku has emerged as one of the most appealing prospect of the year, what stands out most at the end is the very natural father-daughter chemistry between Big B and Deepika. Even the actress believes their bonding in the film was very ‘organic’.

“In the years I have known Amitji outside work, our chemistry came to us very naturally. I remember them mentioning that I remind them of their daughter and they are also very protective about me. Our chemistry in the film is very organic,” Deepika said. Speaking on similar lines, actor Irrfan Khan added about how emotional an experience it was to work with the great actor. “It was a great experience for me and if any actor wants to be an actor, they have to observe Big B and that’s compulsory. He follows the director’s vision obediently and is always playful. We all were emotional towards the end of the shoot of this film,” he said.
