Poor Comeback Or Smart Escape By Hrithik Roshan Over Pope Tweet?

Following the criminal notice sent to Bang Bang star Hrithik Roshan by Abraham Mathai, the actor seems to have come up with a legit response. Whether or not it was actually true or just a defence mechanism, only Hrithik can tell. The issue was raised regarding the actor’s tweet that involved the Pope but, according to the 42-year-old, ‘pope’ was the reference to a freshwater fish.

It is well known that Hrithik has been involved in a legal battle with actress Kangana Ranaut for some time now. The duo had been going back and forth with Twitter posts, initially, and then legal statements. Hrithik’s response to Kangana’s “silly ex” tweet got him into trouble as the use of ‘Pope’ hurt the sentiments of the Christian minorities. The actor was asked to give a public apology for the same.

Now, it seems like the Krrish actor has found a way to escape the apology. Only time will tell, if he is in the clear. Regardless, the actor seems to know how to handle such situations.
