Prachi Desai Talks About Azhar

The upcoming Mohammad Azharuddin biopic, ‘Azhar’, will star Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai and Nargis Fakhri. While Emraan plays the lead character, Azharuddin, Prachi plays his first wife Naureen. Recently, the actress opened up about her role and stated that she and Emraan complement each other.

The duo previously worked together in ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’ which came out in 2010. “I think we really complement each other so it is great we are teaming up for this film. It is heartening that Tony (D’Souza, the director) has brought us together. We are fabulous in the romantic genre. This is one of the best genres for us. We need to do more films together and try more genres”, the actress shared.

Talking about the chemistry between Emraan and herself, the ‘I, Me aur Main’ actress stated, “Emraan and I share a great rapport. Our chemistry is fab and we look the best with each other. In fact, I think Emraan looks the best with me. And that is why Azhar and Naureen will be lovable and we will be able to convey the emotions on-screen. The role is not one-dimensional; it has many layers to it”. ‘Azhar’, directed by Tony D'Souza, will be released on May 13.
