Pride of the Nation Award goes to John Abraham

Star actor John Abraham has been honoured with the Pride of the Nation Award for his film, Madras Cafe. The actor is privileged for portraying a sensitive issue in his movie. John has made a brave attempt via his film to unravel the plan behind the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi. The award was presented by Anti Terrorist Front chairman Maninderjeet Singh Bitta.

Madras Cafe is a political-action-thriller, directed by Shoojit Sircar. The flick is produced by John Abraham, Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Ronnie Lahiri. John has enacted the key role of an Indian intelligence agent in the movie. The film has done reasonably well at the box office and the part played by the actor has been highly appreciated by one and all.
