Priyanka Chopra Joins Sets Of ‘Baywatch’

It is known that Priyanka Chopra has been roped in for action-comedy film ‘Baywatch’, based on the 1989 series with the same title. Last month Hollywood hunk Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron began shooting for the film. The Mary Kom star is set to join them.

The actress will join the sets of the Seth Gordon directorial from today. She took to Twitter and shared the news with her fans along with a picture of Baywatch goodies. She tweeted, “Everything you need on a beach… And day 1 on set! Amazing! Everyone is so great! Yay team #Baywatch”.

The story of the film will revolve around the leader of a group of lifeguards, who is forced to collaborate with hotshot former Olympian played by Zac Efron to save their bay. Priyanka will be seen playing the negative character Victoria Deeds in the flick. The film will hit the theater screens on May 19, 2017.
