Rajinikanth to inaugurate 150 free homes to Sri Lankan Tamils

Superstar Rajinikanth will be inaugurating 150 free homes to Sri Lankan Tamils, constructed by Gnanam Foundation, part of Lyca Productions, who are bankrolling the actor’s 350 cr sci-fi action entertainer 2.o.

The event will also be attended by leading politicians of Sri Lanka. “Despite the fact that Lyca Production’s chairman Subaskakaran Allirajah runs Gnanam Foundation, Rajinikanth gave his consent only because he has always been a well-wisher to Sri Lankan Tamils and understands their struggle in the country,” said a source close to the actor.

According to the official press statement issued by Lyca Productions, the event will be happening on April 9 in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. Our source also adds “Rajinikanth had earlier visited Sri Lanka in the late ‘80s. Now after three decades, he will be meeting his fans and Tamils in the country. The organizers are planning a grand event.”

Rajinikanth has almost completed his part in 2.o, the veteran is currently on a break before commencing his new action thriller with director Ranjith of Kabali fame.
