Here's Why Ranbir Kapoor Might Never Work Again With Jagga Jasoos Director Anurag Basu

Ranbir Kapoor’s fans are eagerly waiting for his upcoming movie Jagga Jasoos. Ever since the announcement of the movie has been made it has generated curiosity among people. And the curiosity has many reasons.

First, it marks the coming together of the much loved and successful actor-director jodi Ranbir and Anurag Basu after Barfi. Second, it has Ranbir’s ex flame Katrina Kaif acting opposite him. There earlier films, Rajneeti and Ajab Prem Ki Gazab, were a hit at the box office. Therefore, fans want to see whether both the actors will be able to create the same magic as they did with their previous movies.

Fans’ excitement to watch the film increased more after the trailer of the movie released way back in December last year which looked like a complete live action Disney adventure. They were happy that they could watch the movie in April as it was earlier scheduled to release in the month. However, to their disappointment the film’s release date got delayed to July 14, 2017.  It won’t be a surprise if the release date pushes further.

The delay in the release date disappointed not only the fans but also Ranbir Kapoor who has produced the movie. The Rockstar actor feels that the continuously delayed in the film will make people lose interest in the film. The delay in the movie is being caused by director Anurag Basu.

A source revealed, “Ranbir shares a great relationship with Anurag Basu and hence when he decided to bankroll the first film under his production house, he chose Jagga Jasoos. However, he is not happy with the delay in the film’s release. He knows how it is affecting audiences’ interest levels and creating preconceived notions about the project which is not good news for the film. He is worried as a producer and he has also voiced his concern with Basu.”

The source further disclosed that the delay in the movie is caused as there are few creative decisions around the movie on which both of them are not agreeing. Now we wonder whether continuous delay will cause differences between Anurag and Ranbir and whether he would work again with Gangster director.
