Raveena Tandon awarded for her performace in Shobhna's Seven Nights

In a big achievement, senior Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon has been honoured at the Indian Film Festival of Houston for her performance in her upcoming releaseShobhna's Seven Nights. The star tweeted the news, saying, “Today was the awards, and yep, it was nice to be honoured by the Indian Film Festival of Houston for my performance inShobhna'sSeven Nights".

She added, "First recognition for performance inShobhna's Seven Nights... Will always treasure...Thank you Houston, the jury. My first award while knowing all of you on Twitter, thank you all for your love and 'duas' and blessings. I dedicate it to Twitter family". The Sudipto Chattopadhyaya’s directorial venture, which also stars Rohit Roy and debutant Amit Purohit in key roles,is about Bollywood's struggling male actors, who turn to prostitution to earn an extra buck.
