Rishi Kapoor, Vir Das join hands for Sanjay Cheel’s Khanna Patel

Legendry actor Rishi Kapoor worked with newcomer Vir Das in 2007 romantic comedy Namastey London and now again the two actors will be seen together in Sanjay Cheel’s directorial venture Khanna Patel. The film is a complete comedy entertainer with Rishi and Vir playing Gujarati Punjabis. It has also come into light that Rishi is playing Vir’s father in the flick.

A source from the film unit disclosed, "The film is a love story between a Punjabi boy and a Gujarati girl and about the two families. It's possibly Vir's most commercial outing and he plays a character with a very hardcore Punjabi flavor. It also brings Vir's brand of young humour into a film with two legends adding their own magic, and so there's something for all ages." Paresh Rawal is also playing a pivotal role in the movie. Rishi Kapoor was last seen in Shuddh Desi Romance while actor-comedian Vir Das is busy shooting for Shaadi Ke Side Effects releasing February 14 next year.
