Rustom May Become Akshay Kumar’s Fastest Rs 100 Crore Grosser?

It is not hidden from any Bollywood fan that Akshay Kumar is one of the busiest and hard working actors of Bollywood. He has 3-4 movie releases every year. The actor’s latest release, Rustom is being liked by all and looking at the box-office collections, the flick might be Akshay’s  fastest Rs 100 crore grosser.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Rustom Fri 14.11 cr, Sat 16.43 cr, Sun 19.88 cr, Mon 17.81 cr, Tue 7.67 cr. Total: ₹ 75.90 cr. India biz. EXCELLENT”! Rustom collected Rs 75 crore after just five days. The Akshay Kumar and Ileana D'Cruz starrer released on August 12.

Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro released on the same day, however, it is still behind Rustom. The flick is a courtroom drama, written by Vipul K Rawal, directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and produced by Neeraj Pandey. We wish the flick gives more reasons to the Airlift actor to be happy.
