Sagarika Ghatge believes in keeping her personal life a low-key affair

Actor Sagarika Ghatge has been recently spotted with cricketer Zaheer Khan on several occasions but neither of them have confirmed or denied their relationship.

When asked if she would like to comment on these link-up rumours, Ghatge, laughed it off. “Even I don’t have that much interest in anyone’s personal life,” she says, “so I am thinking ‘why in my life?’ I’ve never spoken about my personal life. I’d like to say, I’m just very happy with my work and the projects I am doing.”

Ghatge, who made her acting debut alongside actor Shah Rukh Khan in Chak De! India (2007), instantly became a popular face. However, she says that celebrity status has not at all changed her as a person.

“I’ve done very few films and I’ve always been someone who has been very low-key. I talk only when a film is about to come out. I’m someone who lives in the shell. I’ve not changed as such but yes, the good part about being an actor is that I get to portray different characters. And also, one gets to meet such talented people. This is the only thing I cherish about being a celebrity,” she says.
