Saif Ali Khan is ready to take risks for his production house

PostAgent Vinod’s debacle, 42-year-old Saif doesn’t intend to cast himself in his movies and is all geared up to try new things and introduce new talents and give them a platform to prove their mettle. He wants to launch new faces and make many small movies and play it safe.

Riding high on the success ofRace 2, marriage with Kareena Kapoor and also the owner of a brand new red posh convertible, Saif will be careful in choosing roles in the near future so as to give himself room for all the plans he has laid out for a commercially successful lineup of films and his career. A source quoted him saying, “As an actor, I want to focus more on commercial entertainers, films that are massy and not very niche. That’s the space the audience seems to accept me in the best.”

He further added, “The idea is to find that balance in doing commercial fare as an actor that may or may not agree with my sensibilities and at the same time find creative satisfaction through the films that I produce which won’t necessarily toe the safe line.”
