It’s no secret that Salman Khan's father Salim Khan has always come in support of his son. Over the recent rape comment made by the ‘Kick’ actor, Salim tweeted, “Undoubtedly what Salman said is wrong, the simili, example and the context. The intention was not wrong”. And now once again, the ‘Sholay’ actor spoke out in Salman’s defence when he was referred as old enough to be a grandfather.

In one of his tweets, Salim wrote, “In a TV debate Salman was mentioned as old enough to be a grandfather over and over. I request them to watch #Sultan in a theatre”. Another tweet by the actor said, “And wonder how could a man old enough to be a grandfather do this. People have strong temptation to hurt people”.

Starting his journey with a supportive role as Vicky in ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi’ (1988), Salman went on to grab the lead roles in his movies thereafter. From playing Prem in ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ (1989) to Sultan Ali Khan in his recently released ‘Sultan’, the actor with a marvellous persona has seldom let his fans down. No wonder, Salman grows younger every year with his apparent dedication toward his work and flexibility toward his choices of films.
