Salman Khan: Bollywood Should Make Films like Baahubali

Salman Khan has joined the list of Bollywood celebrities who praised S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan star recently said that it’s difficult for Hindi films to break the record that this war-based film has made; and that Bollywood should also make such blockbusters. As of now, the film has minted about Rs. 250 crores.

Talking of the Telugu Blockbuster, the Bodyguard told PTI, “We don’t think we can do that much like (‘Baahubali’ jitna toh nahi kar payegi). Of course it (box office) scares me”. He continued, Baahubali is a good film but our cinema should make those numbers. Do we need their cinema to that numbers”.

Emphasizing the role of a producer in a film, the Kick star said, “A good producer is the one who understands a good script. I wanted to make Hero remake with Sooraj and Athiya as it is a fabulous script”. Salman has also produced Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
