Salman Khan To Produce Tarun Mansukhani’s Upcoming Heist Drama

Filmmaker Tarun Mansukhani’s next flick is said to be a heist drama. If sources are to be believed, the film will be produced by Salman Khan. Tarun has been Assistant director of super hit films like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’ and ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’. ‘Dostana’, which released in 2008, was directed and written by Tarun and turned out to be a commercial success.

A source told Mid-Day, “Work is in progress. It is still in scripting stage. It’s a heist film”. Earlier, there were reports of Sushant Singh Rajput pairing with Katrina in the upcoming flick. Sources denied the fact that Jacqueline Fernandez or Katrina Kaif were approached for the flick.  

Currently, Salman Khan is awaiting the release of ‘Sultan’ which will hit the theaters on Eid. The flick features Salman Khan, Anushka Sharma, Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh. On the other hand, Tarun’s upcoming flick will go on the floors next year.
